I don’t normally get involved with ranting about politics, but I have a common sense solution to the government shutdown a 5th grader could understand.

It will be equally unacceptable to any politician, and that’s exactly the point!

With congress’ popularity at an all time low, maybe now’s the time to get a constitutional amendment through – although all politicians will oppose it, with enough popular support maybe it could get done?
