How To Web Optimize Your Videos

web optimize your videos
So why would you want to web optimize your videos? There are three reasons:

Reason # 1 To Web Optimize Your Videos

Optimizing them, which essentially means making them smaller without noticeable degradation in quality, will make them upload faster and save you a lot of time.  This is especially cool since you can do it quickly with a piece of free software called “Handbrake”.

Reason # 2 To Web Optimize Your Videos

When you do this and make them smaller before you upload to YouTube or anywhere else, they will stream better for users with slower Internet connections.  If you have ever seen videos stop and start, it’s very annoying and can be prevented by this simple process.

Reason # 3 To Web Optimize Your Videos

Do you want your videos to stream properly on iPhones, iPads and other hand held devices?  Make them smaller and they will.  Since mobile access to the Internet and even videos is growing fast and is the way many people access your content these days, this is the best reason of all!

Here’s How To Do It:

If you’d like to work with me personally, the best way to do it is to  join my team here.  I provide all kinds of no cost help to those on my team.

Create Animated Videos Like This for $1.00

animated video

Create animated videos is simple with this service.

If you want to publish and distribute them you need an account, but it’s only $18 for 3 months of unlimited videos. This is a video I made in a few minutes promoting Empower Network. What do you want to promote?

People love to watch videos and we are all conditioned to love cartoons.  And, don’t know about you, but my cartoon version is a good 40 years younger so I’m going for it!

All you need to do is pick your background and characters and then pick your text and they do the rest! Very cool and fun!

Everybody likes watching cartoons and the characters are much better looking than an old bald guy too . . .

Here’s the link to where I found this service – and no, I am not an affiliate so I make no money by referring you – just my way of helping you with your marketing!

Here’s the link to the business mentioned in the video.  Here also is the income disclosure.  Check out the income disclosure for the business mentioned here.  There is no guarantee of making any money, it will depend on your own effort.

iPhone Holder Demo

Friday, June 21st, 2013

This is the coolest accessory – it’s a iphone holder so you can take self portraits or even videos of yourself without any help. The video below is an iphone holder demo.

Please ignore the grimaces in the video – I just got this and it’s really not that hard to expand and contract the holder. Of course, the first time I ever did it was on this video . . .

Where To Buy This iPhone Holder

I have seen similar iPhone holders for as much as $60 at Amazon.  I found this one, which works just fine, for only $11.98 and that included free shipping!

I got it here.

Once you get to that site, use the search function for the item number – 130919298841. The name of it is the “Handheld Monopod Extendable Extending Telescoping Holder For iPhone”.

So stop taking videos only at your desk or in your office, get out and about and make your videos more interesting. For me, I need every gimmick I can find to not be boring so I plan to use this a lot!

By the way, their phone is 800-398-5163 if you have any problems finding it.

Cheers!

Logitech HD Webcam C615 – Inexpensive And Works Great

Thursday, April 4th, 2013

I just bought a Logitech HD Webcam c615

It was recommended to me by the tech support people at Techsmith (Camtasia).  I’m including a 15 second test video using it so you can compare to my earlier videos done with the built in webcam on my iMac.

Let me know if you see a difference in your browser. It definitely looks better to me. It was only $50 on Amazon.

This webcam has autofocus, swivels and can easily be moved from one computer to another when traveling.

Not all webcams and not all Logitech webcams work on a Mac, but this one does.

Here’s the link to another video done on the same computer with the built in webcam instead of the Logitech.

Picture quality and even the width of the field are much better.
