Logitech HD Webcam C615 – Inexpensive And Works Great

Thursday, April 4th, 2013

I just bought a Logitech HD Webcam c615

It was recommended to me by the tech support people at Techsmith (Camtasia).  I’m including a 15 second test video using it so you can compare to my earlier videos done with the built in webcam on my iMac.

Let me know if you see a difference in your browser. It definitely looks better to me. It was only $50 on Amazon.

This webcam has autofocus, swivels and can easily be moved from one computer to another when traveling.

Not all webcams and not all Logitech webcams work on a Mac, but this one does.

Here’s the link to another video done on the same computer with the built in webcam instead of the Logitech.

Picture quality and even the width of the field are much better.

Read and respond to the feedback given on your post without letting it effect you emotionally. There is always a critic, no matter the subject. Use any constructive criticism to make improvements to your blog. Any that don’t offer something of value, you should reply to let them know you’ve read it and forget about it. This will display a greater sense of professionalism, and will impress your readers.

TIP! You do have a life separate from your blog. If you don’t take time off and get away from your computer, you can easily burn out.

Blog often. A common mistake some bloggers make is they don’t update their blog frequently enough. People who were interested in the blog at first will soon become bored, as they wait for updated content. Writing A Blog Tips That Can Help You Out

Monday, November 12th, 2012

Blogs seem to be an inescapable part of modern life. A blog can help anyone harness the vast potential audience available through the Internet and make their voice heard. Cultivating a reader base and posting great content can be tough, as there are as many reasons for blogging as there are people. Read on to find some simple ideas which will work for any blog, no matter what reason it was created.

You can pull in extra readers by offering them a freebie. Everyone enjoys free things, and it doesn’t even need to be something significant. Give away freebies regularly and you’ll find that your visitor base is growing rapidly. People will visit your blog often, if they know that you sometimes give freebies.

Encourage readers to post comments to your blog. Doing so will help your readers feel as if they are a vital part of your blog. Do your best to respond to the comments they leave. Doing this will encourage your visitors to keep coming back, reading more, and continue to be an active part of the conversations about your topics.

TIP! It is important that your content stands out from other content posted on the internet because you have only a short amount of time to get a reader interested. Do this by creating interesting headings, using eye-catching visuals, and including intriguing content that draws readers in.

Any blog that wants a close relation with its readers needs a contact form. This lets visitors and readers contact you with questions or comments. Your readership will likely include many different people, and those varied opinions are an asset. Your readers are the best way to find out what is good and bad about your blog.

Do not overlook the importance of proofreading. If your blog is full of typos and bad grammar, you will drive your readers away in droves. It is also a good idea to avoid incorrect use of words, such as their/there, you’re/your and similar errors, that will not be found by spell check.

Make sure that all of your posts are highly relevant to your blog topic. Try to avoid posting just because you feel like you need to fill your blog up with information. Readers can tell when it’s just useless information, and will eventually begin to look elsewhere for more relevant content.

If you’re running a blog on politics or religion, make sure you don’t let your bias take over. For example: You might be a conservative-minded individual and may want to disallow comments from a more progressive-minded poster. Censorship will only prevent your blog from being viewed as interesting, and it can make readers less interested in reading what you have to say.

TIP! Stay real. Don’t make it look like you are a ‘know-it-all’.

Be sure to use images when you’re making posts. Remember, a picture really is worth more than a thousand written words. There’s no better place to prove how much more pictures are worth to readers than within a blog–they are a vital part of your communication. Images are able to add more interest to a post. You want to make sure that you include as many images as you can.

As you create more relevant posts, your site will be easier to find for search engines. Consequently, your website will see an increase in traffic and readers because more people found your website through your relevant blogs. Use these tips to see big boosts in readership numbers.

Make sure you are able to stay ahead of the competition with your blog. Since they are competing against you, it is good to know their actions. Remember, your competitors are probably looking at your blog, as well.

Break up long blog posts with subheadings to ensure your reader doesn’t tire out. This will really enhance your blog and make it easier to read. This is a simple technique that will boost your blogging and take it to another level.

TIP! Avoid using pop-ups on your blog. They slow down computers and Internet connections and generally annoy readers.

When making your blog, buy your domain name as opposed to going with a free site. Buying your own domain is surprisingly inexpensive and makes your blog seem more professional. Using your business’s name or something related to it will make it easier for viewers to remember it.

Running A Blog is all over the Internet today. The styles and reasons for blog posting are many and varied. Fortunately, any blogger can find their niche on the Internet. Put the information you have learned here to use in making your blog a success.
